The Men were fishing the whole time for their Steel head. The were both determined to get a steel head.

Bear is such an amazing dog! Lemme tell you a really quick story. we went on a short hike just off the main road to take pictures of some white tale deers. While we were enjoying ourselves I dropped the keys with out realizing it. about an hour later back at camp I realized I didn't have the keys anymore and knew they were over there where we were taking pictures. Well on the way over there I said a little prayer and when we got to where i remember taking the pics and everything Bear came trotting down the hill with the keys in his mouth. I dropped my jaws and just praised that dog! It was just a miracle he had sniffed out the keys. Just our little miracle dog. He got a big reward for that one.

In the pic above you will see in the river our little black dog. He loved just hanging out in the middle of the river. It got to the point I started worrying about him and made him come back to the bank. I thought he was going down river..But everyone there loved watching bear love the water.

Aiden was so excited to fish with his Dad. It was a lot of fun. I loved the atmosphere here and the beautiful rock ledge along the water. It was a great time.

All the trees were covered in different types off moss and different plants. this is a pic of a tree log.

Bear loved the water. We had problems with him swimming after everyones bobbers. I thought it was cute.

The trash fish that were caught were trapped in a small body of water in the rocks and Bear loved trying to find them under the water.

These two guys really held trough the rain and the weather to both get their Steel heads. Cory Caught a native the day before and then Matt caught his the last fishing day. They came here last year for 3 days and both didnt catch one. There hard fishies to catch.

The river has risen and also gotten nice and chocolaty brown since it had rained all the day before.

We Got Robbed

So I woke up this morning and opened my blinds in our bedroom and I noticed the gate was open and I yelled to Matt cuz that is just so weird. He was closing the gate door and noticed the lawn mower tracks through the gate.

SO we went and bought a pad lock for our gate...That just sucks someone violated our privacy...And luckily they left the Nicer Mower. But the took the nice weed eater and 3 shovels that We left out from unloading out of my moms car when we got home. Luckily I brought the geodes in or we would have nothing to break open. Anyway. that's a bummer.

There were geodes laying around everywhere you walked around the dig site. This would be a lot of fun for kids...I would suggest spring time and fall time when it is not direct under the sun. Matt digging for the Bic's bite and Topaz Gems.

Finally after 50.1 miles on a dirt road and we finally see the geode digging sign! Also notice the salt flats in the back ground! It was so deserted and just really a spectacular sight. While we were driving out there we saw some of the wild Mustang Horses! I think that is so cool that we still have wild horses all over in Utah! It makes ya think of back in the wild west days where the horses were the transportation and there were Indians and the Pony Express was a big part of history. Pretty Cool to be out there like I said and see the Wild Horses. I would love to get close enough to take a picture...the horses we saw were far away.

This picture was taken (if you open the picture above will show you the logs wedged in the crack of the rock) back to what I was saying sorry. I climbed to the FIRST log and I freaked out. It was so steep and intimidating to climb further. If you look the logs go all the way to the top. I couldn't do it right then. Especially when there is a huge group of people watching...and Me not knowing if I could get down. LOL, I turned around and climbed back down. I will go back when I have some better shoes and it is just Matt and I. LOL I WILL GO BACK! The pic below shows where I got to and took the pic and then turned around. Indian writings right next to the "Indian ladder". They were really cool to see.

But I had always had to go to Murray to get to their walk way to go rollerblading. Now I don't need to. If I wanted. I could Rollerblade all the way to Amy's on the walk way. Of course I would have to take a right on her road and work my way to her...But I don't think I will do that. LOL. Right. It is a nice new walk way that the city had made. Bear is pretty funny when it comes down to me sitting down at the table to get updated on the things I love to update myself on...Like uploading pictures of him...Anyways, He loves to climb up on the chair to get more in your face to remind you to get him out and play some Frisbee.

It was a very nice evening out and I am glad Bear got us out again. We enjoyed throwing the freisbee for him the WHOLE TIME. He Amazes us with his Frisbee loving afare he has with that thing. We seriously have to have him watch us put it away so he knows its over...No more. But when we open the door he is a Frisbee nut!

This is Cory's little Girl doggie biscuit. She is so cute. We left Bear with Cousin Cory while we went to the Baptism and they just had a great time playing.

Biscuit is so little and so cute...She will be a big dog here in a couple months..Bear and Biscuit are going to be our hunting dogs...Bear got his try at a couple of Pheasants today. He loved the chase. Its out of season to hunt so Bear just got to sniff out the pheasants and Flush em, which he got two up and into the air. He loves it!

We had to get Bear worn out a little before we hit the hills so we didn't feel bad about leaving him in the car for a little bit.

Matt and I heading up the hill on the high speed quad. Bogus Basin has SOOO much hills to board and so many different lifts in so many areas. I would have gotten lost. Thank goodness Matt worked this Mountain 4 seasons to show me around the best slopes. Thanks Babe.

The view was amazing the whole time up there. We got up the hill as the sun was coming up and it was bright and sunny all day. If you enlargen the pictures, the Mountains in the back were breathtaking. It was a great day up on the hill in the sun. Once we headed down we had to go in the inversion and then the rest of the day we were in the dark inversion..eww..

In courtesy of my Aunt Marcia I added the tree of life to the blog here...(as before I dint have the Tree of Life photos on due to my copy of the picture) You pass this on your way to nevada on hwy 80 w. There is a pic above of it. It is really a weird viewing out in the middle of no where. Now in the pic below if my pic of the tree of life. It is unfocused and has lint in between the lenses and I cant get it out. so there is my view below...

We heard that is was a quicker drive and less people to worry to drive the road with. Well it took us 4 hours instead of 3 but it was a really nice change and a great drive. Very beautiful landscape. it was dark the last hour but the scenery was worth it.

The Bonneville salt flats. There is like 3 inches of salt that covers the earth here...its crazy. A quick drive through.

Jinx

Jinx is such a fun cat. I never thought I would be a cat person. We had been watching Jinx's Mom while she was pregnant with him. She gave birth to the litter of 6 male kittens...Yea. And it was the beginning of February below zero out and just after a huge snowstorm. We had to wait like almost a month before we finally saw them. She lost 2 during the time to when I FINALLY caught Jinx. He was just a tiny little fluff ball kitten. He still is our little Jinxy He has really pretty green eyes...cant really see em, any who. That's one of my Cats Jinx. We caught his brother like a 4 weeks later and He went psycho(sp) and tried to escape through the mirror's and was just a bad experience. He got like a bloody nose. Yeah..he had been traumatized ever since. If no one is home (Matt & Bear) He is my little best friend...all the other times is off scared downstairs where the Dog is not. Any way...I'm Blabbing and I have some cute pics to post of my Niece & Nephew.

Hair cut

So today I thought I would go for a haircut and I asked for it a little shorter in the back...well that is what they gave me. It is super short straight and so when I get my hair wet my hair is going to curl up and make my hair look even shorter. Hmm..that will look funny. we will see how this goes, but it is pretty different.

Never thought I would see myself with my natural color hair and hair so short. Well I can now say I have seen the day.

One Foggy Day

Matt and I went over to the Bountiful pond to throw the Frisbee for Bear. It was like 4 a clock and it was so dark and gloomy. Driving through the fog is another story. We could only see like 10 ft in front of you. Cars would come out of no where...It was crazy.
The day was so warm that there was an inch of water on top of the ice. So when Bear would retrieve the Frisbee he would slosh around and create waves when sliding. it was fun.

Matt Ice Fishing. I went out .took the picture. and went back to the dry..well muddy land. I watched from shore. I played Frisbee with Bear and Ty kinda just watched and chased Bear chasing the Frisbee.

Bear testing the water. . Which He fell through through the ice twice..scarred Me to death..but it didn't faze Him like a minute after He got out. He just wanted to find His Frisbee.

Bear and Ty had fun running on the ice and playing together. Matt trying his "bridge" onto the ice..ya know gotta get past the thin stuff...Not cool. But it worked out and did its job.

We were so excited to get up the Mountain to get some snowboarding in for the first time! Finally! But were delayed by wreckless driving. Had that officer up front holding the line up! Gosh..Just kidding. hope everyone was ok. Holy Cow did We have a wonderful time! I wish we could have stayed up longer and/or had a pass...Boarding is just the best! Carving down the hill...Its great. Cant wait till the next time!

Here is My Snookie Poo! He is so handsome! So glad I have a cool guy to hang out with!

Here is Matt's little baby..and Mine too. We just love him so much! He is so much fun and just warms our hearts! He is such a burst of energy all the time! And we know when we need to get him out and exercised! But like I said he LOVES Frisbee and We love that too.

Here is my baby Ty. I have had that smarty pants for 11 years, and think She is like 12 years old. My Fam would have to help out on that one. I am BB Sitting Ty while my Mom and Dad took my Little Sis & Bro Back to their mission homes as a "tradition". They Went to Peru where Andy went and Boston where Amy went to Nanny...Not me when I went to Germany and Michelle in North Carolina and Peter in Kentucky. So that's cool they got to go back before getting back to the real world. Wonder what they will do? Michelle should be busy though with remodeling our place..Michelle?

The Doctor visit went great

So, I went to Dr. Beckstead yesterday. After waiting for an hour I was called and led by a very friendly woman who went out of her way to come and let me know after waiting for a bit it would be a "bit" longer. Once I got in He looked at my neck and said it was a Lymth node that had "past away" and in doing so it has blocked a passage way (not sure which one) to my ear and so explains the ear ache in my left ear.

This pain will never go away..of course it is not something I feel everyday...but will have for the rest of my life. Bummer. But at least I have the rest of my life to live...*Knock on wood* LOL Stupid superstition. Any who.

All is good and now I guess just getting healthy and ready to get pregnant...maybe..were still debating. But I am wanting to get into a healthy routine before getting pregnant so I can still work out while pregnant. The doc told me I cant change anything I am already doing. and since I just started Monday on exercising I need to do it for a while and be in routine to exercise so I can work out while pregnant. Cross my fingers... ;) And of course changing my lifestyle to where I am taking vitamins... The doc also said I need to daily multi vitamins, zinc and calcium pills. So once I am in habit of doing taking the multi vitamins and also exercising regularly we then will talk about having a baby! Playin it safe here. Not needing to rush anything. lol any way. so Far so good! loves

Matt's weekend fishing..duck hunting and goose hunting

Here is Matt Business part of the trip. He did an excellent job, way to go Babe! Cant wait till we get our Kitchen/dinning and living room and bathroom re~done! That's why I am kinda delaying in showing the inside of the house. It is not bad at all..but the cabinets are looking pretty bad and that makes a huge part of a living area. Any way way to go babe!
He made two of em. there ya go...take a good look. :)

And the next day he went for what he has been talking about for a while now. Glad he was able to have a great time.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

So after my last post my Cousin in law wrote & suggested to me that one thing that has been really helping her is to eat more fiber. OK. Fiber? What is fiber...well I think of fibers of clothing...lol yeah not the same thing. So is you already know what fiber is ignore the next two paragraphs, maybe three... :)

So what is fiber? Fiber is a virtually indigestible substance that is found mainly in the outer layers of plants. Fiber is a special type of carbohydrate that passes through the human digestive system virtually unchanged, without being broken down into nutrients. Carbohydrates constitute the main source of energy for all body functions.

A nice to know fact: Only plants produce fiber..ok didn't know that. now there are two forms of it..Insoluble fiber & soluble fiber. Yeah ok. Um now what do they mean? Insoluble fiber is mainly made up of plant cell walls, and it cannot be dissolved in water. It has a good laxative action. And then Soluble fiber is made up of polysaccharides (carbohydrates that contain three or more molecules of simple carbohydrates), and it does dissolve in water. It has a beneficial effect on body chemistry, such as lowering blood cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

Any way past that mumbo jumbo info..it comes down to what I should be eating. (Not that this isnt mumbo jumbo too.) I also got the list of Fruits and vegetables that are high in fiber from a website. So hope their right..cuz I am trustin em. Any way, include: Apples..I like Beans..I can do with Mexican food Berries...are expensive Broccoli...I like Brussels sprouts...I l ove. Carrots..hard to eat. but once I eat one they are so yummy and I keep eating them! Actually I should eat some now but don't feel like it. (I should eat some lunch) Cauliflower...Is so good in this meal I ate in Germany. I should email the fam for the recipe again. I have already have them email it to me before. Obviously dont have it anymore. Figs..hugh? Oranges..juicy Pears..only a certain pear I ate in Germany. hmm, wonder what the difference is? Peas & Prunes i can do. Here are other good sources of fiber: Bran muffins..a mouth full! Brown rice..I aint predjudice. Multi-grain cereals..do they have marshmallows in em? Oatmeal...Done Popcorn..PoP. Whole-wheat...always. Ok not always.

Now that that is out of the way. does everyone understand fiber?

Now that I do (Thanks Tiff for suggesting) I will start applying it into my life!

So, I started my day off ok. I ate some oatmeal. had some coffee. ( I know Fam..we don't like coffee) Went for a walk with Ty. came home...and I worked out!!! Yeah! I did the workout I said I would try! (I am so lame I know) Now I couldn't do all the reps..It was tough! But over time I should be getting it down and hopefully complete all the reps required, and then some cuz it feels good! yeah right feels good! Well it does feel good but getting there doesn't feel good. well I guess I am wrong again. I think it feels good to feel my muscles being used. LOL I don't have anything to strenuous to lift or do in my daily life style..and since I have my own muscle man now...he comes when needed after! He is the MAN! He moves the heavy things i need moved..(I use to be able to do it all on my own..but enjoy watching my man being my muscle Man) I guess I better start relying on my own strength again.

I was having a hard time getting started. right as I got everything set up to get working out. and put the work out video right in front of me so I felt I was doing the work out right. (my previous excuse was i didn't know if I was doing them right). Then my friend from Germany had messaged me! It was Carolin! My BF from Germany! It was wonderful to talk to her..Maybe an hour later she had to go to bed and Matt called to let me know he was coming home! Alright! Now, back to starting the work out! GOSH why is is so intimidating to work out for me! UGH, anyways I did as many reps as I could and moved on! We will keep the # of reps i did to my self..lol. Hey, I at least tried right?

Now I am writing letting my blog know I did the workout like I said I would do! Like Matt said "Its like a band aid. ya just gotta rip it off and once ripped of..hey that wasn't so bad!" or like he always says to me.. Matt: " How do you eat and Elephant" Me: "you don't" Matt: You eat it one bite at a time!"

So I just have to incorporate a healthy life style one thing at a time! And today I did 3 thing so far! 1-I ate oatmeal for breakfast. even though i could only choke down 5 big bites!
2-Brought my dog for a walk...45 min outside was wonderful and refreshing! And Ty loves me more for it! 3- I tried the work out! I broke a sweat and tried every work out shown. I couldn't finish the reps...or do a lot of a couple of em..well I couldn't finish a a full rep on each one! Hey...That's OK though. that is what I am challenging my self to do..Build strength and muscles...and to become lean and happy!

It wont be over night but a lifetime goal! And I am on my way to becoming a healthier person! Oh I forgot to eat lunch and also snack on something healthy after the workout! I will work on that to! ;) Maybe I should go look for some more Fiber to eat!!! LOL

The great 1-month slim-down

So who else has a weight loss goal? I really need my goal to kick in! I need to start to love to live a healthy lifestyle, Learn how to eat in proportion and really enjoy the transformation on becoming a healthier happier person. So I am signed up on almost every health websites. And I just got total motivated off of the self.com page. "The Biggest Loser's Jillian Michaels knows firsthand what it takes to get the body you want." Well the work out she shows looks totally challenging and something I would love to try. I could try it right now. Nothing is holding me back. Yeah there is my..what do you call it? lack of will power..there you go. Or just plain laziness. work out at bottom of page

I would love to be a health freak and LOVE to Love to work out! Make it a hobby! What is holding me back every day from doing something I wish I did every day? Laziness..there it is again. I hate that. But do I really love to be Lazy? I really don't think I am Lazy. I go to work...Have to sit on my tooshie and take calls...8 hrs later. I pick up my lover, hang out and visit. then what do we do from like 5 on...I know I usually fall asleep around 9:30 in the winter time.

Hmm 4 hours for myself. What can I do with my self in 4 hours? What hobbies can I be doing. I know I like to play on the Internet. That doesn't make any money with what I am doing and makes time fly really fast! I can always occupy my time on line. Following up on health articles basically and picking out things I like out of magazines and trying to spot ideas in a magazine the way i want my kitchen to look when done. Always looking at the way I want my life. But never taking those thing and applying them to my life. What if I always came home from work and got all excited to work out to a new work out I heard about or read online..Instead I just collect articles of the ones I want to do when I eventually do them.

Well that is changing tomorrow! All tomorrow. I will dedicate time to start becoming healthy..starting by eating breakfast. And I am not a breakfast person. Matt is great at making himself a PB&J in the morning and eat that everyday of the rest of his life before work. My pallet just gets dry thinking of peanut butter on bread in the morning.

So what do I do. I don't like cereal. I don't have time to make something in the morning with having to be out the door at 6:30 in the morning. I do work with bagels..just they are hard to work with. I Love coffee...but know that will have to change to have a healthier body..Well ..I wont argue it now. My little sister said something about the reason why we are not suppose to drink it but I forgot..LOL I tried to remember but it just slipped my mind. So maybe Michelle you can repeat yourself on that one again.

Anyways, I am going to do these workouts.. I made em small so it doesnt take up so much room. Like I leave my babbling regualar size. so it can take up more room.

1~Hot stepper1 -->Stand facing a bench; place left foot on surface, knee bent. Keep left foot planted and extend arms as you step right foot up and over bench (as shown), landing on opposite side. Push off right foot to reverse to start. Do reps; switch legs; repeat.
Works butt, thighs, hamstrings

2~Reverse squat 1 -->Start in a deep squat with thighs lower than parallel to ground, a weight in each hand at chest, elbows bent. Rise so thighs are parallel to ground as you straighten arms at chest level (as shown). Return to start. Do reps.
Works shoulders, lower back, abs, butt, thighs
3~Plank-up 1 -->Start in plank position on forearms, legs extended behind you, resting on toes; raise right leg a few inches off ground, toes out (as shown). Keeping leg lifted, straighten right arm, then left, coming into a raised push-up position. Reverse motion to return to plank. Repeat, alternating lead arms. Do reps, switching legs at halfway point.

4~Prime climb1 -->Stand on right leg with left knee bent, thigh parallel to ground, a weight in each hand. Raise right arm overhead, palm in; bend left elbow, holding weight near shoulder (as shown). Jump up, landing on left leg, right knee bent, thigh parallel to ground, as you reverse arm position. Jump back to right for one rep. Repeat, quickly alternating sides. Do reps.
Works shoulders, biceps, triceps, upper back, abs, butt, thighs

5~On your mark1 -->Stand with feet staggered wider than hip-width apart, left foot in front of right. Bend knees and crouch until left thigh is parallel to ground, right heel lifted. Rest chest on left thigh and place fingertips on either side of left foot (as shown). Keeping fingertips on ground, straighten legs, lowering right heel. Return to crouch for one rep. Quickly do reps. Switch legs; repeat. Works butt, thighs, hamstrings

6~Take a bow1 -->Stand with feet hip-width apart, a weight in each hand. Raise arms out to sides at shoulder level, elbows bent 90 degrees (like a goalpost), palms forward. Bend at hips until flat back is nearly parallel to ground (as shown), then extend arms forward and retract. Return to start; repeat. Do reps. Works shoulders, lower back, abs, butt, hamstrings

7~Power pike1 -->Start in push-up position, feet resting on ball. Do a push-up. Then dig toes into ball, allowing it to roll forward as you raise butt toward sky (as shown). Lower butt and roll ball back to push-up position for one rep. Do reps. Works shoulders, triceps, chest, abs, thighs

8~Flye crunch 1 -->Lie faceup on a bench with legs together and extended at a 45-degree angle; hold a weight in each hand, arms out to sides, palms up (as shown). Contract abs as you lift shoulder blades off bench, bringing arms together above chest and lifting legs to a 90-degree angle. Return to start for one rep. Works shoulders, chest, abs, thighs

So I guess I really am posting this post to start to a healthy new lifestyle. I need to write down what I do and need support from those around me. So as long as I am writing this in here...It should motivate me to follow up on everything I talk about. How lame would it be for me to post all of this and then just not even try to do anything. That would be lame. Well I guess I could call that a goal. My goal is to write my excise's I do on here and also keep a log of what I can do now so I can compare to the future.

I also would like to get my weight into the healthy 145 lb range. I have some work to do. 30 lbs. to loose. and this program I am looking at est 8 lbs a month. Man that doesn't seem like very much! So then that means about 3 1/2 months to the weight I want to be at. hmm...3 months doesn't seem like to long with how fast time has been going so quickly. so around may I should be where I want to be. I can do it! Dedication, will power and more will power! LOL I will hopefully leave my insecurities of failing this at home...Wait that's where I work out..Well I know I can do it.

Wow, 2009 is here and sooner than that is is going to be past in in history to soon! Really, and I sit here and think of what have I accomplished in the year 2008? Hmm, well lets see...
1- Matt and I purchased our home. I guess that is a great achievement to have under our belts. Now lets just see what comes out of our now home? We have a lot of renovating to do to the house. Every wall has to be taken off and sanded down and all of the ugly horrible painted cabinets and trimming in the entire house will come down. The counter tops and linoleum floor squares will go in the garbage. I am so excited for all the new things to come to our home this next year. We still can't phantom the thought that we are already in a house with money saved and paying all our bills and having a good life where family is all close and living great lives. Good times.
2-I guess you could say getting hired on to UPS Freight permanently was somewhat of an accomplishment. I wont go into that. I got a turkey for Christmas from my Boss. That was really awesome I thought, and thoughtful. And raises are coming and that is something to look forward to. it only comes once a year. At least it comes...
3- I really cant think of anything else. Well I guess We had a great time traveling and Camping out under the stars. Going out to the sand dunes and going geode hunting and come back with an even more rare crystal..wonder where i put those?
4- I finally got my entire family out to the Ranch in Idaho and Bonnie made her home cooking for them. I had always wanted to share with my family the wonderful life that My Husbands family also provided. Matt and I got to show them thousand spring and the Hagerman valley. The clear springs with the sturgeons in the ponds. Those man eating rainbow trout..Ben and I both had our fingers chomped at by huge fish! Cut the skin open. No one else would do it. I guess it was pretty stupid. but who knew they would actually bit and drew blood?
5- We got our own little Black Lab..we always talked about it but there was always another dog somewhere else that needed a home..until we pawned that dog of to my sister and could get our own. perfect excuse to buy for Matt's birthday!
6- Matt got a pretty good size deer this year...but I guess that's not my accomplishment for this past year.
7- I became a great snowboarder last year. I was able to speed my way through the trees and really enjoyed the whole run. I guess not great but pretty good. ;) Ben said he would take us next Thursday. i am going to hold it to him! I really and dying to go hit the slopes...and even better we get in free at the place I love to go the most. Brighton. ( I haven't been anywhere else in Utah to compare, LOL...just so you know)
8- Became debt free ..except purchasing the house...lol
9- I cant think of anything else.

I really want to become healthy and live a healthier lifestyle. I want to really become dependant on myself and not other things in life. Like I really love coffee. I really just need to kick the habit. MMM I love my chocolate truffle Starbucks coffee. Well I need to go to the doctors at a hospital or somewhere other than where I have been going. I have a lump on my throat I am going to the doctors on Monday to get check. it has been flaring up and irritating. I had gone into a doctor previously to get it looked at and they said it was nothing & I was imagining the problem..they said caused by stress..which it probably is and me worrying about the irritating throbbing lump on my throat makes it Even worse. I told the doctor to really make sure i didn't have throat cancer or anything with Me smoking cigarettes in the past and living the unhealthy lifestyle I have been living.
I want to be sure 100% and i feel I do have something wrong with my throat. I don't want to hear the truth of my horrible mistakes I have made have caused on me and what it will cause on my future...and others future. But it all comes down to Matt and I wanting to have our own family here soon and me worrying with this lump on my throat..I just want to be health and have no difficulties with having a healthy baby with out any complications with whatever is wrong with my throat. I just want to get the doctors apt over with! anyway.
That my friends is babbling gone on for to long.. Obviously Matt is not here to give me my 30 min time limit on the computer! It is nice to finally write what I have been thinking for a little while. Even though I share with Matt. Writing it down feels so much better. Maybe I sh0uld take up writing in a journal this year. Sounds great...I'll write that down.
Well I am signing up to take a jewelry making class/yoga and a health class to help start off my new year with a good start to finding hobbies I really enjoy.

Matt and Bear

Well Bear is Matt's Baby! Seriously it is so funny. While we went to zermot or however you spell it...Matt missed Bear so much. We hadn't been gone 8 hours and He was seriously getting sick worrying about him and feeling horrible he was home alone! We set up the garage so he had plenty of room to roam and gave him plenty of food and surrounded with toys and chew stuff.... I was getting kinda annoyed with how much he worried about the dog. But why should I get annoyed with a Man who loves his Dog? I shouldn't. It Just makes me love Matt so much more for being so passionate and having such a big heart for his little Dogie! He is Matt's Baby!

Matt is in Idaho right now with Bear. He installed some cabinets at a friend of his and then drove to the Ranch and had good feelings there reminiscing of old times when his famil owned the ranch. He said there were Geese crossing the drive way there and just ducks flying everywhere. Said He dreamt of that moment a couple weeks ago. He has been so excited to get out and hunt with his new little best friend who Matt has so many hopes for to be the Best Hunting dog. We have a lot of work to train him. He is really impressive though. Can steel all the hearts of everyone around him. He just gives you this look...ahhhh.

Bear LOVES to play fetch! I am so happy he gets so excited! You always see those dogs in the movies and on TV where they compete and are so intelligent. Well Matt had Buck who all I know of is a Legend Hunter. "King Buck". And then there is my Dog Ty who is also a very smart dog who those who know her can impress you with great obedience and a great dog who can hang out with the grand kids up at the house. She is such a great Dog! Well Bear loves to play frisbe! he will play as long as you will throw it for him! He is awsome! I always wanted a dog that would retrieve a freisbe for me. GOOD BOY!

Well Ty is here with me right now staying the weekend while My Mom & Dad, Michelle and Peter go on their trip to Kentucky & North Carolina. She is wonderful to have at the house. I do feel secure with her. She will protect me from some stranger. Any who, They are going back and visiting and see those who change their lives and visit some favorite places they can share and show each other. That would be fun to go and just have them show ya around town. Matt and I need to be better with our money and invest better. I wont get into that now but soon.

Bear Loves: Shovels, brooms mops, rags, pillows, fleece blankets, SHOES, anything he can put in his mouth and gnaw on. Well we have a hard time when it snows. We want to bring him out and enjoy the weather but he always attacks the shovel and it is really hard to complete a single row. But super funny. .

Tonight I helped watch Jake and Ellie while Mom & Dad Ambler ran some errands. While we were making pizza & cookies, Jake kept telling me stories while he was on his mission. There is one where is just was so funny..He was in such deep thought and like he was in much emotional pain! He was out walking one day and He got a cat. He was a little cat. The color of his fur was blue! And the funniest thing is the cats name was Green! The cats name was green. After hearing that story, Jacob pulled out his sword and started going at the snakes that were all over the place. He is so imaginative! He really was so much fun to watch. Amy & Ben..just let me know the next time I can watch him again! Actually I believe I said He could come over for a sleep over next weekend! So we could have Matt home to hang out with us. Anyway,

Such a hot Snookie Poo!

Zermatt Resort was Beautiful and was a great trip close to home! We had a great time being with the Family...the whole Family! I loves swimming in their cool pool and the Jacuzzi was fantastic! Of course reminds me of the Jacuzzi in the Bathroom too...I didn't last past 5 Min's both times.

I love this shot! It is so great to look at this photo and know I have a WONDERFUL Family that I am so grateful for! And each one of them have such great qualities. I look at each one of them and get lost in thought at all their wonderful achievements & great lives they have lived so far. Makes me take another look at life and realise what I really need to do to put more underneath my belt! I wont get into that now.

This was an excellent book. I never see the picture cover of the books to get an idea of what the books are about. (My mom puts a protective cover on the books and I just take what she suggests with out looking at what she gives me.) This book was such a great book. I really found myself reading this as much as possible..It was a book of mystery and wanting to find out what happens next. It was a great read. This was another cover for the book which explains itself if you read the book of cource. I look at twins in a whole new way...Really. Those with out a twin they say "are amputees"...and after reading this book it makes you understand why. Good outlook.
This was a fun read. And I didn't know it was on dragons...like I said my mom places a cover on the book before I can see what it is about and I just read it. This was a little hard to get into..it had a long start...but once it finally got to the action it was over. But a great short read.
I went to Tiff M's today to borrow weathering heights and started to read it and I have to say it is such a hard book to follow. The book is referenced in so many other books I have read it makes me very interested in reading this one.. Any one else read the book?

Little Easton is such a little cutie..He was out "mowing" when we stopped by. And he will sit there and blush and smile and give ya the cutest faces.
Sadie...Slow down on growing up! My goodness she is just getting so big. I just cant believe the expressions that come out of her. She is such a good older sister. While we were there we got to hear her do the Pledge of allegiance. She started singing it all like it was a love song and then mom reminded her to just say it. She is so cute.

I am pretty excited to see the Legacy Hwy finish and now able to use...I am more excited about the new walk way they have along the side as well.. You are able to see more of the land on the west side on I15. I really do love the feel here in North Salt Lake and the wonderful Mountains. Every where I have lived I have never enjoyed as much as I do here. Its Home.

Today was the youth duck hunt and Matt and I decided to get out and play in the water...And I was speechless when I asked Matt where his fishing rod was...He said he forgot it...Weird. Guess he was in Kayaking mode. We followed this dyke for quite some time and then it opened up on the right and didn't go anywhere...but it sure was a purdie sight to see..Matt is thinking about what it would be like to kayak in all that stuff...So instead of thinking about it he does it. Matt wanted to go through it of course.. ;)
Here was a huge pond that was just filled with those tiny Leaves...I should have taken a picture of those leaves up close... Matt and I got out and just walked a good mile or so and there is water everywhere...If the Mountains were not there to direct us you would get so disoriented out there.

We chose to have the Family Reunion at Niagra Springs National Park and Had such a wonderful time. Thanks everyone for coming and hope ya'll had a good time!

This is Jacob and I the 1st morning of the Fam Reunion..He is so precious. I heard him in the morning, he was anxiously stating "I wanna get out of here...How do I get out"...he was in a tent and of course it was zipped up. Well I got a hold of him and Man his face in the picture below is just so funny! He is just a stud! LOL

OK So I just finished the last series of Twilight and I am still not done thinking about how great the Twilight series was...now I was browsing a bit on the net and came across this website that has a trailer for the movie...and at first when I saw the trailers for the movie...I really didn't like the actors they chose and well...I guess I just didn't like the actors they chose...Here is the website if ya wanna check out the trailer and get a little bit more excited about the movie... http://www.twilightthemovie.com/ .

Driving round town

Matt and I have been driving around town checking out all the houses in the area that are for sale...We think it is time to get into our own home. We have found a lot of homes we would like and they are all here in Bountiful so that makes it more comforting to know we wont have to move far...and we don't want to. we want to stay nestled here in bountiful. We both love living in this area. Well Matt saw this huge sunflower next to all the little sunflowers and thought it was a nice shot. So snapped a pic of it. So excited to get into a new home with my Love.

Pepe Lepu & Senior Jinx both went to the vet the other day and got their shots and neutered at the same time...and when I went to pick em up they were so out of it...They really didn't come around until the next morning ...Poor Guys! So relieving though knowing my boys wont be creating any baby kitties running around!

When Matt and I got to the Ranch I was supprissed with a birthday party from my Nieces and nephews...with a help from the Moms and Grandma. I had such a gret Birthday thanks so much!

Matt is so wonderful to help finish helping me clean up the place, with what I dislike the most. Cleaning the floor in the Kitchen and the bathroom are my hardest to get motivated to finish(scrubbing the floor & toilet). So He is so wonderful and knows when to take over at that time, and finishes that up for us. He Gets so proud of him self and says to me that "He would be happy to eat off the toilet", Such a Funny Guy. Thought it was pretty funny how He washes the floor.

The Pictures might not look so clear, took it off the phone. Forgot the Camera. But we went fishing to the pond in Kaysville and we usually don't do good there at all. We had a great day of fishing there. I caught 3 and Matt caught 6. It was really a nice and warm day out so we had fun in the sun.

Palasades, 4 days and 3 nights

We love Palisades...We always have a good time here. I caught 2 Cutthroat same size, and felt satisfied to head back to camp. I went back to start this book my Mom gave to me to read. Matt caught himself the biggest Rainbow he has ever caught in the wild. And boy did it taste good. You can see from the picture with us cooking it on the fire. It fed us two nights...Yummy, yummy.
We went for a hike and came across the stream with Kokanee. If you look for the red spots in the picture with the stream. It was really cool, they were everywhere.

The Great Salt Lake...

So we have experienced the kayaking out at the Great Salt Lake. Not the best. We were going to try to start out at the Salt Flats and Kayak to Antelope Island and then hike around the Island and watch and look for Buffalo and such.. We got there carried the kayaks about a 1/4 mile and then finally to the water... Ugh, the water is so shallow for such a long distance we have to push ourselves about 10 yards out and then finally we wern't touching along the bottom of the lake. Well the bottom of the lake was just about 3 inches under us...if we wanted to we could have gotten out and walked to Antelope Island through the Great Salt Lake...anyway. I decided...since I was sick and my lungs were having problems, I decided to give up and try another day. So it's not over... we get to the shore and start to carry the kayaks back and I cant keep up with Matt and so I just trailed behind coughing and walking as fast as I could. Matt just took off and drug the kayaks all the way back... Poor guy, but he said "he loves me and it didn't matter.." ;)

Our night in town

One of our Favorite Bands is Unwritten Law. We especially like the singer Scott Russo. He brings a lot of character to the band and has come up with fun lyrics. Matt loves to play along to their music! We have every album.

We got some tickets to go watch them play at the Depot this past Friday. We went to Applebee's and just ate and ate and ate...just kidding...we really enjoyed the food though. So Matt and I made our way to the end of the line to get into the Venue. Matt started nudging me and started saying "there’s the singer of the Band" I looked and didn’t look at the right person and just looked back with an "cool". And he then said...that’s Scott Russo. I look again and look at the guy a little closer and "hey, it’s Scott Russo". I instantly start walking over to them and he turned around and said "Hey Girlie, what you up to?" and I asked "How about a picture?", "Yeah, Of course" Scott Said, then I asked again “How about a picture with my Husband too?" He kind of wasn’t expecting that. Matt was a bit shy and it took him a bit longer to get over to us...”Aaalright...Let me come around the fence...” “Awesome...say cheese!".

Scottie is the singer of the band! I wonder if he read Matt's shirt?

24th of July vacation

7.20.07 We began our 24th of July trip Friday the 2oth. First destination the Ranch in Jerome, Idaho. Matt's Home Sweet Home. We were able to see a BiG chunk of the family at the Ranch that we rarely are able to see and get to visit with. The Roos's (Mandy and Dave, Mae and Lalo) they were visiting from Guadalajara, Mexico. And the Robrtson's (Julienne and Kieth and their 4 kiddies) visiting from Germany. The Picture above has a bunch of Odds and Ends of all the Hamilton's. They are a great Bunch!
Ty came along with us; I believe it is her first vacation out of Utah!!

It was like she wasn't even there...She was really quiet but was full of energy when she was out of the car. She chased a couple of Jack rabbits and saw some real life alligators! That's a small picture but in the picture there is a 15 foot Alligator!

7.21.07 We had fun shooting clay targets with everyone. All of the Hamilton's are on it! Even the little tikes that can barely hold a gun! I felt pretty good when I shot the first clay target they threw for me. It was fun. We then were off to Banbury's, our favorite place to go and get cooled off from the heat! It is heated by hot springs and cooled by other spring coming into it.
7.22.07 Our next stop was Palisades Dam. Matt had just recently discovered this location and the fish that were in it! We have visited twice this year, I love relaxing by the river. It is a beautiful view from our tent.

We love it here.

7.23.07 When we were finished at Palisades we mozied our way to Jackson Hole where they were having a Rodeo...There were so many people there and ever hotel room was booked...so we booked it outta there and decided if we found something on the way home, we would check it out. So here comes Afton, Wyoming. We were lurred in by a really big Antique store...where we ofcourse purchased some fun buys.(Not the ones shown~>)

As we are driving through, we decided to check into a Dog friendly hotel for the night and it worked out great. Ty even got her own queen size bed.

7.24.07 Today we have been lazy getting on the road for we knew it was our last day of vacationing... We decided to stop at Bear lake and enjoy the Beautiful Blue waters. No Bites but we were kinda getting a little tired to get home and just lay in our own bed. It was a wonderful weekend and love being out in the summer weather.
