So we drove through Nevada to get to Idaho

Swedish artist Karl Momen created the 87-foot high tree between 1982-1986. He financed the project himself to bring bold color and beauty to the stark, flat, salty landscape. In courtesy of my Aunt Marcia I added the tree of life to the blog here...(as before I dint have the Tree of Life photos on due to my copy of the picture) You pass this on your way to nevada on hwy 80 w. There is a pic above of it. It is really a weird viewing out in the middle of no where. Now in the pic below if my pic of the tree of life. It is unfocused and has lint in between the lenses and I cant get it out. so there is my view below...

So isn't Bear such a handsome doggie! Him with his best friend...The Frisbee.

We heard that is was a quicker drive and less people to worry to drive the road with. Well it took us 4 hours instead of 3 but it was a really nice change and a great drive. Very beautiful landscape. it was dark the last hour but the scenery was worth it.

The Bonneville salt flats. There is like 3 inches of salt that covers the earth here...its crazy. A quick drive through.

WHAT - no picture of the "Tree?" Come on - I know that's why you really drove through Nevada to get to Idaho!
